GRISBÌ BECOMES ICE CREAM
Grisbì enters the ice cream market with two new offerings that bring the brand’s signature characteristic into the frozen category: the combination of crunchiness and creaminess that has made its iconic filled shortbread biscuits so distinctive. Designed for both at-home enjoyment and on-the-go consumption, the new products expand consumption occasions and create new touchpoints with consumers.
The project is being developed through two strategic partnerships. In the retail channel, the collaboration with Tonitto marks the launch of a new ice cream range available in three flavors—Chocolate, Lemon Cream, and Coconut—all featuring the brand’s signature crunchy shortbread element, recreating the experience of the original biscuit.
At the same time, the brand enters the artisanal gelato channel through a partnership with Pernigotti Maestri Gelatieri Italiani, a brand of the Casa Optima Group. The result is a chocolate gelato that captures the flavor, texture, and recognizability of Grisbì in an entirely new format.
This initiative represents an important brand extension strategy, enabling Grisbì to expand into new distribution channels while maintaining its premium positioning and strengthening the brand’s presence in a category with significant growth potential.
