Widow at 39, with four young children and a family bakery job. The story of Matilde Vicenzi begins and continues with her passion for desserts, of which she always wrote down recipes and secrets. Her love for baked goods and her proactivity have led her to be a pioneer of an industry that today, with Vicenzi Group, is established and renowned: that of Italian pastry.
Giuseppe has always shown an entrepreneurial spirit, which then proved visionary and capable. "Good, beautiful and less expensive than the competitors," he said at the beginning of Amaretto, the forerunner of a long and innovative series of baked goods that, even today, conquer the throats of the world.
Dreaming big and pushing beyond personal limits enabled the Vicenzi family to achieve an entrepreneurial milestone that is still a symbol of growth, innovation and reliability.
Giuseppe Vicenzi was able to convert a small family-run laboratory into a large international group. Stubbornness and commitment allowed him to achieve his dream: "create the biscuit industry".
