Research and Development
The Research and Development Department is our special ingredient, allowing us to bring the quality of Italian confectionery tradition to the whole world. Our professionals continuously propose new products, following market trends and end-consumer preferences. This allows us to offer a product portfolio that is constantly being updated, respecting the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
Inclusive nutrition
We offer a constantly updated selection of products in accordance with the highest standards of quality and hygiene, and offer solutions to meet specific dietary needs or preferences.

Gluten free
Our gluten-free lines are produced in compliance with the standards prescribed by the European Union and the Italian Celiac Association (AIC), the certification that accompanies celiacs in choosing products suitable for their food needs. The Savoiardo Vicenzovo, the Mr.Day Gluten Free Muffin and the dedicated Grisbì line are gluten-free.

Lactose free
We guarantee goodness and taste to those who are intolerant to lactose and milk proteins, with our lactose-free lines, which includes the Millefoglie of Matilde and all the products of the brand Mr.Day.

Vegan
We respond to the food demands of final consumers, proposing and planning the expansion of our vegan-friendly lines, in which we find Grisbì with cream gianduia, rich in taste and respect.
Packaging
To maintain the high quality of the products, Vicenzi Group also invests in the research of innovative packaging, which allow to maintain unaltered organoleptic properties, from packaging to transport on the shelf. We work with respect for the environment, using recycled materials and reducing over-packaging. We also limit the use of labels and filler films and, when necessary, replace plastic ones with paper materials.
Environmental management

Production processes
Our large-scale production processes are continuously being innovated to ensure that the necessary quality and hygiene standards are met. For the San Giovanni Lupatoto plant, we automated the packaging process, reducing consumption, and optimised the operation of the lighting in the plant. The Nusco site is equipped with a distributed cold room to optimize its operation. In San Giovanni Lupatoto, photovoltaic panels are also installed to exploit the energy of renewable sources.

Water resources
We are committed to safeguarding and reducing waste of water, which is a very important resource both for our production processes and for the protection of life and the planet. In 2023, we recorded a reduction in the order of 30 percent in specific consumption at the Group level.
