Matilde Vicenzi sponsor of the Estate Teatrale Veronese

Vicenzi Group, with the Matilde Vicenzi brand, supports culture and the arts in Verona: proud partner of the 77th edition of the Estate Teatrale Veronese at the Teatro Romano.
Alongside the city, supporting its major events and Verona’s cultural excellence. Vicenzi Group has always supported culture, the arts, and live performances in the city, and this year proudly contributes to the realization of the 77th Estate Teatrale Veronese at the Teatro Romano, through its brand named after founder Matilde Vicenzi.
The Estate Teatrale returns with grand Shakespearean productions, music, dance, renowned actors, and international singers, representing one of the most important Italian and European festivals. Here, art and live performance meet the general public and transform one of the symbolic locations of our city—the Teatro Romano—into a space of emotion, passion, and timeless stories.
The Vicenzi Group could not miss this appointment. For 120 years, it has brought its passion for excellence and high-quality pastry to Verona and across Italy. An unbreakable bond that reflects the essence of our city—made of great entrepreneurial stories and the courage of individuals who, throughout the centuries, have made Verona immortal.
The Vicenzi Group
A sweet story that has lasted 120 years: the Vicenzi Group is synonymous with fine pastry and deeply connected to the city of Verona. Amaretti, puff pastries, ladyfingers, and all other specialties signed Vicenzi are made today, as they were in the past, with dedication and attention to detail. The entrepreneurial dream began in 1905 when Matilde Vicenzi started baking and selling biscuits in her small pastry shop on the outskirts of the city. Those scents and that passion fueled the entrepreneurial vision of her grandson Giuseppe Vicenzi, who became inspired watching his grandmother work.
From Verona to the world: Vicenzi Group
With its three brands—Matilde Vicenzi, Grisbì, and Mr.Day—the Vicenzi Group today reaches 9 million households in Italy and employs over 350 full-time staff across four different production facilities. Each has its own specialization: in Verona, the San Giovanni Lupatoto headquarters is dedicated to classic products such as Amaretti, Puff Pastries, and Ladyfingers; the Bovolone facility produces Grisbì; in Nusco (province of Avellino), the plant is dedicated to the sponge base used in Mr.Day muffins; and in Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC), the company focuses on shortcrust pastry production.
Vicenzi classics are appreciated in 97 countries around the world—from the United States to the Middle East. Innovation and quality are the keywords that have guided the Vicenzi Group for over a century in baking products that keep pace with fast-changing markets, following consumer trends and needs.
